Night Photography   is where we  teach you how to take effective night photography around Adelaide. The flash at times cane be too hard on the subject.

With modern cameras which can cope with higher ISO’s, it is getting easier and easier to take great pictures without the flash. This will open new and creative doors up to you.

This is for those who have very little idea on Night Photography   and would like to improve their skills or would like to brush up on their stills.

Night Photography is a follow up to the ” Getting off Auto ” workshop and now we go to the next level in putting manual into practice in night photography.Manual will always give you better results as you are controlling the camera and the camera is not controlling you.

Where To Meet

We meet at the foot of the walk way bridge on the side of Adelaide oval at 6.30 pm and go through to 10pm.It’s fine to finish earlier if you feel that you need to leave earlier.

Night Photography  will require you to bring a tripod. They are a must as we explore the Torrens River and surrounding buildings of Adelaide.

When you understanding your settings in the camera for night photography, you will be in a position where you will be able to explore the world of night photography. It is not hard and there are a few principles you need to know and then you will be on your way. Night Photography  will enable you to add another dimension to your photographic skills.

Please bring your camera manual as it is just handy to have it on board in case we need to refer to it. All cameras do basically the same thing but the manufactures have to be different from each other  and hide things in all different places within the camera. So having you manual will save a lot of time if I can’t locate things within your camera. Pete:)
