Flinders Ranges 2018
14th – 20th July 2018
I’m so excited about this Photo Tour as it is an amazing experience and a wonderful time of learning.Like all of my tours I love making sure there are many different layers to them. I just adore the rugged nature of the Flinders Ranges and I love the fact that my guests to get to explore this wonderful area and much of it on private land which is not generally open to the general public.
The powerful sunrises and sunsets always brings a delight to ones experience in the Flinders Ranges
I love the light found in the Flinders and I love the moments when the guests are confronted with the imposing light against the rugged landscapes and to see the joy on their faces is priceless.
Join me on the Flinders Ranges Photo Tour where I take you to some of the most iconic parts of the Flinders Ranges.Like all of my Photo tours he will put you in the right place at the right time.He will teach you all that he knows in the time frame that he has and if you are at a level where you don’t need his help, then you are free to explore and shoot the areas that he takes you to.
Have you ever wondered what it is like to take pictures from a chopper with the doors taken off? Well this is one amazing experience that will leave you in awe and will give you an experience that you’ll never forget. I am there to help you with lens type and your settings on your camera to be able to come away with stunning images of the Flinders from the air. This is an unforgettable experience.
We will embark on privately run stations that will give us access to some of the most stunning landscapes that the Flinders has to offer with amazing rock structures and vistas. This is such an awesome experience.
As we make our way to the Flinders, if the skies are going off, then I will always stop our bus and get people to take a few pics as we make our way up their. Shooting something along the way to getting to the Flinders, adds to the overall experience of the photo tour.

- If you are thinking about a Pete Dobré Photo Tour, please book now !!!!
- Operators that I deal with in running my tours require commitment 8 weeks out and in the past I’ve had people booking within that time and the tour has to be cancel due to low numbers and yet if people had booked earlier, the tour would have been sold out. This is one of the tricky aspects of running tours which is the cut off point which operators require otherwise I’m charge with rooms that I cant use. Please keep this is the back of your mind when considering a Pete Dobré Photo Tour, just makes things so much easier from my end.
- Thanks kind regards. Pete:)
“Thanks Pete for taking me to a new level and for showing me how to get wet!!! I enjoyed every experience you provided for us. Still a lot of bummers and stupid mistakes,¦ but overall I am stoked. I have not laughed as much since my twenties. it was the best medicine ….and just the break I needed” Marg Harris ★★★★★ Pete taught me to Learn, connect and opened my eyes to what is around me. But most of all to look up and see the sky. Its immense, its ever changing and its beautiful. The BEST thing about Pete’s tours is the ‘fun ‘factor’. That’s the point of difference for me. Tiff Firth“Just got back to Sydney a few days ago after a great Kangaroo Island Photo Tour. Now I have caught up on my sleep I thought I would take the time to say just how much I enjoyed this tour. A great group, and a great professional in Pete who was always available to answer my questions. Some. which were the same ones, but it didn’t bother him. It is hard to find someone with the knowledge and also be able to teach, Thanks for eveything Pete,” Zane Whallin “To anyone considering this trip, I can’t recommend it highly enough. The best locations, no crowds, great advice & possibly the most important component is heaps of laughs…..thanks Pete….Ha Ha we rock (no pun intended)……Pete your enthusiasm for the task made the early starts much easier…..we don’t get up that early for just anyone” Chris Jarrett ” Great to hear of the awesome ‘fun factor’.
